The Director of People and Culture will be a key factor in training, development, team get-togethers and building a diverse team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, and have a genuine desire to help them grow. This role will be equal parts strategy and execution, and will report directly to the CEO. We’re looking for a positive and thoughtful self-starter that can take initiative and adapt to evolving circumstances.
Preferred Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management or related field. PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.
Minimum Education Requirement: Training in Human Resources, Public Administration, Psychology, Education or other related field. PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.
Other Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years management level experience in Human Resources role.
Active affiliation with professional HR networks. (SHRM, LWHRA, etc.)
Familiarity with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Experience working in nonprofit and/or working with people that have disabilities a big plus!
Experience in training development and implementation.
