AtWork! is looking to hire a talented Director of People and Culture who believes in the importance of building and developing a world-class team, understands the power of diversity and inclusion, and who can successfully transform business objectives into organizational and talent strategies.

The Director of People and Culture will be a key factor in training, development, team get-togethers and building a diverse team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, and have a genuine desire to help them grow. This role will be equal parts strategy and execution, and will report directly to the CEO. We’re looking for a positive and thoughtful self-starter that can take initiative and adapt to evolving circumstances.


Education Requirement

  • Preferred Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management or related field. PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.

  • Minimum Education Requirement: Training in Human Resources, Public Administration, Psychology, Education or other related field. PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.


Other Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years management level experience in Human Resources role.

  • Active affiliation with professional HR networks. (SHRM, LWHRA, etc.)

  • Familiarity with developmental disabilities is a plus.

  • Experience working in nonprofit and/or working with people that have disabilities a big plus!

  • Experience in training development and implementation.
