AtWork! is seeking a Community Inclusion Specialist to join our team! Community Inclusion provides coordination and support for people with disabilities to actively engage in their community. Community Inclusion Specialists create various opportunities by attending or participating in events, activities, volunteer work, and outings into the local area. This position focuses on Senior Citizens with developmental disabilities to enjoy their retired years through community integration. This position also facilitates community involvement for individuals under the age of 62 that have participated in our Employment Services and choose to transition to Community Inclusion.

This position assesses skills and interests of the people we serve on their caseload, develops and implements service plans, develops leads and contacts within the community that result in opportunities for connection with others without disabilities at mutually interesting activities. In most instances, this position facilitates the involvement of the person we serve and assures their safety within the community.


$16.00 – $17.00 per hour to start.


Full time. 40 hours, non-exempt.


Greater King County.


High School diploma or equivalent.

College degree preferred but not required.

One (1) year experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.

First Aid & CPR Certification is a plus.


Valid Driver’s License

Must have a reliable vehicle to travel in the King County area.

Good driving record.

Proof of liability insurance.
