Employment Consultant

We are seeking a full-time Employment Consultant to join our Mission Services team. Employment Consultants work directly with the people we serve and businesses in the community. Working with a caseload of participants, Employment Consultants evaluate the skills and talents of individuals, then develop and coordinate opportunities with businesses in the local community. Successful employment is when both the individual served and the business’s needs match.

Effective Employment Consultants maintain the greatest level of independence and enjoy an ever-changing environment. Employment Consultants work collaboratively with their teams and their managers to provide the best service possible for the people we serve. Employment Consultants celebrate diversity, are compassionate and exceptional listeners, and focus on the individuals and their goals. Their attention to detail, self-confidence and a good sense of humor are critical to success.

$20.00 – $22.00 per hour to start

Full Time, 40 hours, non-exempt

Greater King County

Education & Experience Requirement

– One (1) year of experience working with people with disabilities is a plus.

– First Aid & CPR Certification is a plus.

Other Requirements

– Valid Driver’s License

– Must have a reliable vehicle to travel in the King County area

– Clean 5-year driving record

– Proof of liability insurance

– All employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption verified by Human Resources
